Works that are not accepted for publication will generally be permanently deleted from our active records within ninety (90) days following rejection.

After this retention period, Prohibition Press Ltd. retains no publishing rights or licenses in declined submissions and does not intentionally retain copies of those Works except where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

(3) Payment Information

If you receive payment from Prohibition Press Ltd., payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Stripe may collect financial, banking, identity verification, and tax information directly from you.

Prohibition Press Ltd. does not store sensitive financial information such as bank account numbers or tax forms.

We do retain limited payment-related information necessary to administer contributor payments, including:

• Stripe Connect Account ID

• Payment history

• Transaction metadata

• Your legal name, when required for tax reporting and legal compliance

Although you may publish under a pseudonym, your legal identity may be associated with payment records and disclosed only where required by law.

Our website uses essential first-party cookies that are necessary for the operation and security of the website.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers.

If you have received payment from Prohibition Press Ltd., we may retain limited payment metadata, including your legal name, Stripe Connect Account ID, payment dates, and payment amounts, for up to seven (7) years to comply with financial, tax, accounting, and legal requirements.

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

• correct inaccurate information;

• request deletion of personal information;

• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or

• opt out of non-essential communications.

Please note that deleting your personal information does not automatically remove published literary works that have already been released under a separate Publishing Agreement.

Likewise, publication removal requests are governed by the applicable Publishing Agreement rather than this Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Prohibition Press Ltd. works with trusted third-party service providers to operate its publishing business.

These currently include:

(1) Stripe: payment processing and contributor payouts.

(2) Squarespace: website hosting and infrastructure.

Each third-party provider maintains its own privacy practices and policies.

External websites linked from our website are not governed by this Privacy Policy.
